ATM reaction on the statement of Ka Leody De Guzman about the issue on mining during his interview in DZRV 846 | Alyansa Tigil Mina (ATM) | February 14, 2022
"Ka Leody De Guzman clearly articulates what needs to be done to protect the country’s natural resources and Indigenous People’s communities against destructive mining – that is, re-impose the moratorium on mining operations, ban open-pit mining and scrap the Mining Act of 1995.
These are the same policy proposals that Alyansa Tigil Mina pushes for towards the rationalization of the mining industry and national development.
